Today we've had a male model. We've started with usual warm up. I'm finding a bit harder to draw male models than female. I think female models are easier to draw, because they have more curves and it's easier to capture the weight and the essence of the pose. However, I found this model's poses very interesting. I've added some notes to my drawing to show what I was thinking of the pose.

After the warm up, we had to watch the model changing his pose and draw the only part of the body that takes our attention. This technique helped me with understanding the anatomy of different parts of the body, which will be very useful in my future animations. I've tried not to repeat the same parts of body in order to widen my research.

Today we were also introduced to measurement. For the last drawing we were given 30 minutes. Usually, when we draw we are supposed to exaggerate the pose, but now we had to carefully measure everything and draw exactly what we see. I found that a bit frustrating, because more measurements I've done, more mistakes I found. But in the end I was satisfied with my drawing.
